The Painting Process
The painting process is performed in many, many layers of paint. Creating a smooth surface is necessary to achieve a smooth finish. This is achieved by applying several coats of white pigmented shellac and a primer. The animal is then sanded and the process is repeated several times. Once the animal has gone through a final sanding and a base coat is applied, the painting process begins.
